Version 2 Released December 7, 2009
- fixes missing battery status image
- stops foreign router login prompts
(1) If you have not
installed the Mozilla Jetpack Addon, do so
now. Then come back to get the Mifi Battery Status Indicating Mozilla Jetpack.
(2) If the information bar is saying, "This page contains a Jetpack feature"...it's because the Jetpack feature you came to get is
trying to install. My suggestion in this situation is to click
Install. If you have no information bar, see step (1).
(3) No, I am absolutely and in no way whatsoever affiliated with Verizon, Verizon Wireless, Verizon Wireless Communications, nor Verizon [fill-in-the-blank], though my wife swears we must own a part of the company given the money we spend there. I have done this mostly because when my Mifi dies, my shell to my Linux web server dies and leaves a nasty file handler open :( and because it's fun to help other people...clearly every Mifi user
needs this jetpack. Install it, you'll be glad you did.
(4) If you have multiple people connecting to your Mifi, each one (in order to see the Verizon Mifi 2200 Battery Status Indicating Mozilla Jetpack) should (a) use
Firefox, (b) install
Mozilla Jetpack Addon, and (c) install the Verizon Mifi 2200 Battery Status Indicating Mozilla Jetpack (by returning to this page and clicking the information bar).
